Prof. Cameron Tipping Jack Welch’s strategy facilitator during his time at Harvard
Cameron Tipping, well known for strategy consulting, is now the president of IIBD. He completed his undergraduate degree in Canada graduating with distinction. He then obtained his MBA from the Ivey Business School graduating with Dean’s Honors.
Raised in Canada, Mr. Tipping was a member of Canada’s National Speed Skating Team and represented Canada in several World Championships. After completing his MBA he moved to Europe to develop his career in Strategic Marketing and worked for a company associated with the INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France. This experience afforded him the opportunity to conduct management seminars for senior executives throughout Europe.
In 1993 Mr. Tipping founded the Institute for Business Development (IIBD) which specializes in empowering business managers and executives to develop and execute market-driven strategies. He with his team developed several leading computer based marketing tool and simulations to enhance the value of service.
Mr. Tipping has consulted to over 5000 business executives from more than 60 countries. He has instructed on MBA and Executive Courses at London Business School, Ivey Business School and other business schools in Europe, Asia and North America. Mr. Tipping’s business simulations are also used worldwide on MBA and Executive courses. Mr. Tipping has been invited to with companies on in-house program such as General Electric, AstraZeneca, Siemens, Exxon, IBM and many more.
